we are gearing up for a WILD week at Babe’s - in case you haven’t seen the slew of party and event announcements (half of which seem to be AI slop which makes me wonder how much work they’re putting into the event itself … 🤨) it’s about to be WNBA All-Star Weekend in Chicago and we are ready to party! It’s gonna be a scorcher this week and we don’t mean the weather 🔥 we have some HOT events coming up:

🏆 it’s the Commissioner’s Cup final on Tuesday and we’re pairing it with craft night - come stress-collage as Stewie and A’ja go head to head
🍔 Wednesday we’ll haveMom’s Chicagoback for some burgs on the patio!Out There will be at the bar, too, so come before 7 if you want to beat the hungry runners to the grill
🦀 Thursday is a celebration for all of our Cancers, we’ll have Cap’s Ice Cream serving cones on the patio, Rock Steady Stonez doing tooth gems, and friends from the neighborhood out celebrating! Calling all crabs!
🌭 We’re pregaming the big bbq day with free hot dogs during the Sky’s away game on Friday and doing it big because we are CLOSED ON THE FOURTH! Hope you get some nice outside time!
⚽️ Sunday we’re back in action and SO ARE THE STAR! It’s a three sport day, come recover from your celebrating with some baberade and women’s sports 💕

Summer fun continues this week! We have plenty of WNBA action, plus AUSL games including our watch party for our home team, the Bandits on Saturday!

In between cheering on our teams, we have a Tool School tie dye workshop you can still snag tickets to!

On Saturday, come donate blood (there are still a few slots left!) and then reward yourself with an afternoon of sports and cinnamon rolls courtesy of Brie’s Cuisine! We’ll have AUSL swag (including sunglasses from one of their sponsors, Goodr) for the Bandits game at 4PM, and then a very special guest bartender, friend of the bar and PWHL goalie Carly Jacksonwill be guest bartending from 8-9PM.

We’ll be recovering all Sunday with a softball sandwich at noon and 7PM, and WNBA games all day between - if you aren’t headed to the United Center for the Sky vs Aces game come catch it with us!

We're helping Kaitlin and Madi, friends of Babe’s, fundraise for the Chicago Marathon to benefit PAWS Chicago. They’ll be working as guest bartenders on the patio on Saturday during the USWNT game against Brazil and all of the tips they make will go towards their goal - make sure to pop into the patio on Saturday to check it out and support a good cause!

Plenty of sports and special events on the Babe's calendar this week! Join us on Tuesday for Tool School and learn everything there is to know about cars, plus WNBA every day, and the start of the College Softball World Series

A shorter week, but no shortage of sports! We'll have WNBA every day we're open, CONCAF cup action, and plenty to do in between.

W fans get ready, there's a WNBA game nearly every day this week, including some prime time rookie matchups, Angel vs Paige, and two notable South Carolina alumni (besties A’ja and Allisha) going head to head.

Saturday is for football and futbol, with some rugby for good measure. Come watch people tackling each other!
