This Week at Babe’s: October 13-18
What’s uppppp party people! Our week is looking a little chiller thanks to both semifinals series ending in 3-0 sweeps, but that just means more opportunities for a nice (read: not packed to the gills) night at Babe’s! Plus with a little extra space in our TV schedule we’re tuning into SURVIVOR on Wednesday - BYOB (bring your own buff).
⚽️ On Tuesday we’ll be watching the second match of USWNT vs Spain - we had a great turnout on Saturday (despite the sad results) and are hoping even more soccer fans come out for this one! Tool School will also be meeting and doing some power tool pumpkin carving 🎃
🔥 Wednesday is Survivor night - plus college vball and some pro surfing 🤙 Bring your own dinner and hang with other Survivor fans (and can we please talk about how much dumber this season’s contestants are??)
🏐 College volleyball season is heating up and we’ll have three big matches on Thursday - if you’re an alum of Michigan State/Illinois/Nebraska/Northwestern/Purdue/Iowa and you wear any school gear we’ll give you a special treat!
⚽️🏐🏒 Friday is a women’s sports grab bag - we have both college and pro soccer, volleyball, and ice hockey. TGIFFFFFF amiright
🏀🏆 Saturday is GAME 1 OF THE WNBA FINALS and we can hardly contain ourselves we’re so excited! Whether you’re a fan of the Dream or the Valkyries, we are in for some really good basketball. We’ll have a $10 cover starting at 1:00 (game is at 2:30) and are expecting to hit capacity like we did last year so come early to guarantee entry/face glitter (and if you have some from semifinals please bring it! turns out glitter goes FAST in a room full of women’s sports fans… an awesome problem to have).
🛼 Sunday we’ll be playing the championship game for the Women's Flat Track Derby Association Championships (and we’ll also have the rest of the tournament on all weekend!) along with some NWSL and college volleyball games. The derby fans are a good time so if you’ve ever been curious about the sport, it’s a perfect time to come learn and make new friends!
We can’t wait to see you this week - don’t wait for Saturday to come say hi!
