This Week at Babe’s: September 15-20
It’s a good week at Babe’s because THE WNBA IS BACK! After taking a break for the FIBA World Cup (congrats Team USA and sorry to Team France aka Team mini-WNBA), we have two more weeks of the regular season before it’s PLAYOFFS, BABY. We have W games on Thursday-Sunday (including a Sky away game Saturday at 6PM, free hot dogs for dinner!) - come out in your best Playa Society shirt to celebrate making it this far in the season.
It’s already playoffs for the Women’s Pro Baseball League, and the Firebelles are the first to clinch their spot in the finals - Monday’s game of the Queens vs. the Heights will determine who they face. We’re planning a welcome-home party for Sabrina Robinson, who is on the Babe’s team and played for the Hunters this season (and had several show-stopping plays) - stay tuned for party details!
Tool School Tuesday is a planning day, bring the ideas for your next project and get some support from Juliana! Need to design a gallery wall? Have an idea for a DIY project? Want to get better at taking care of cars but don’t know where to begin? This is for you! We’ll also be showing the new season of Dancing With the Stars, we’re bringing back the whiteboard paddles for audience judging!!
Wednesday we’ll have Out There Run Club meeting up at the bar and will be showing the first WPBL championship game, plus some NWSL.
Thursday kicks off the WNBA games and then we’re off to the races for the weekend - check out the full schedule at babeschicago.com/events and make your plans to come in and say hi!
