This Week at Babe’s: August 18-23
this week is so full it barely fit on our graphic! shoutout to Watch Women’s Sports IRL for helping us make these cute calendars chock-full of women’s sports.
we’ll have our normal round up of Tool School Tuesday (this week is all about plumbing and toilets 🚽) and Out There Run Club Wednesday.
we’re departing from our regularly scheduled programming on Thursday to host an intro to tabletop games with the Chicago Tabletop Gaming Association (this event is for anyone who has ever wondered about DnD but thought it was too boy-dominated! It’s currently sold out but they will release a few more tickets a few days before the event),
Friday we’ll have a slate of WNBA/college volleyball/pro baseball games going from 5-9PM!
Saturday we’re making some signs and diy merch to bring to the Fever game on Sunday, to make sure everyone knows Chicago shows up for our trans community. We’ll have sign-making materials and a few heat transfers if you want to bring a blank shirt! The event is from 12-3 but the sign-making materials will be available all day :)
Sunday we have sports from when we open at noon through dinnertime! If you go to the Sky game at 6 we’d love to have you at the bar for a post-game drink, we’d love to hear the debrief <3
